“Silent Oscillation” summons four extinct plants into the real world: Magnolia Latahensis, Hymenaea Protera, Persea Pseudocarolinensis, and Hesperelaea Palmeri. Each extinct plant gains a body with distinct amorphous organic form and an internal sound organ. The internal mechanical device generates sound in real-time from the DNA data of each extinct plant, resembling the body of a living organism where constant physiological processes occur.
